Welcome to Canterbury Elementary!
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work with your children each day. Our students enjoy a rich curriculum of literacy, math, science, and social studies, along with experiences in Spanish, physical education, music, and art.
Our Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) system recognizes and celebrates students for the positive behaviors they display. Through PBIS, students are developing the skills they need to be strong citizens at school and the community at large. The program works to improve social, emotional, and academic outcomes for all students, including students with disabilities and students from underrepresented groups.
Positive and consistent communication between school and home is vital to the success of our students. The support students receive from their families allows them to be successful in all areas of their lives, including school. We look forward to continuing the Canterbury Elementary tradition of strong family involvement and communication.
Our valued Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) organizes many fun student and family functions. These opportunities will be communicated through weekly newsletters, Bloomz, and teacher communication. Please consider volunteering for these events!
Thank you for visiting our website. Please click here to meet the principal, Ms. Clark West.
We are excited to travel on this learning journey with you!
